Risk is reported on a clinically validated 1 (very low) to 5 (very high) numeric scale, while disease severity is described on a validated 1 (health) to 100 (severe periodontitis) numeric scale. Reports are generated while the patient is still in the chair, dramatically increasing compliance and retention. Patients are given this analysis as simple-to-understand numeric scores (like a credit score) that demonstrate improvement or deterioration in their periodontal health status.
