Where to Start

What's the best way to learn about PreViser™?

That depends on two factors, which are detailed below:

1. How you learn best (your specific learning style)
2. How you will use the application

1. How do you like to learn?

The User Support resources are set up in a variety of formats, so depending on your personal learning style, you can choose the method that works best for you. We strongly recommend that you start by reading the Introduction pages of the User's Guide for a brief overview of where to find what you may need.

  • If you prefer to read about something first, start with the full documentation in the PreViser Basics section of the User's Guide, particularly the Features and Functionality chapter.
  • If you prefer to learn by doing, start by running the PreViser™ program in Training/Demonstration Mode so you can play with it, looking up information in the User's Guide or clicking on terms on the screen to view context-sensitive help as you need it.
  • If you prefer to be walked through the steps of a process first, start by viewing the Tutorials to get a basic overview of the most common tasks you will use. Use the application in Demo mode to practice the Tutorials, if you wish.
  • If you like to learn what you need to know as you go, click on terms on the screens about which you have questions, and read the context-sensitive help information that pops up about that specific term.

2. How will you use the PreViser™ application?

The PreViser™ User’s Guide includes information for readers from a variety of backgrounds, who may be using different portions of the PreViser™ application.

Your entire staff can benefit from familiarity with PreViser™ to the level of detail appropriate to how you each use the application and how you interact with patients. Start by reading the parts that are most relevant to you.
